Bamboo Fly Factory could be said to have been started in 1979, when my father, started fly tying with Fulling Mills owned fly factory here in Kenya.
In 1995 armed with over 16 year of fly tying experience and passionate to offer quality flies at affordable prices, we started fly tying as a commercial venture through small orders that had started streaming in.

Since then with exceptional quality, prompt delivery & good communication, we have grown to supplying superior quality Hand-Tied Fishing Flies to every major fly fishing region in the world. |

As a Limited liability company with 5 directors, registered under the Laws of Kenya, we have our fly tying facilities located in the suburbs of the capital city of Kenya Nairobi, a place called Dagoretti Centre, about 10Km from City Centre.This houses over well experienced 60 fly tiers. |

Our second facility is located in Nakuru, in the scenic Province of Rift Valley with about 20 well skilled tiers.
Our offices are located in the middle of the city in Moi Avenue, Commerce Hse,3rd Floor,Suite 314.This is our delivery office,receiving office and our communication centre
Over the years we have grown to employ over 60 highly experienced fly tiers, both men & women. Most of this tiers have vast experience having worked with a fly tying division of Fulling Mills here in Kenya. |
